Ween calls it quits (if I believed in sideways frownie faces I'd use one here)

Ween, one of my all time favorite and most influential bands, has apparently called it a career. The news at this point is still unofficial but I wanted to take the opportunity to state how thrilled I am that I was able to work with them for their Indianapolis poster in June of 2010. I'm disappointed that I may never get the chance to do more but at the same time am extremely thankful I am able to say I've worked with them. If I have a top 5 favorite bands of all time list (and let's not kid...I do) Ween is definitely on there. I love a lot of music but there are a few bands that, although a listenable medium, have a direct influence on me as a visual artist. Ween's craftsmanship, storytelling, inability to label as a genre, and (most importantly) sense of humor very much reflect my approach on art and life. If this is indeed it for them, I am quite sad but wish them the best of luck in future endeavors. Gene and Dean Ween helped provide a number of tracks on the soundtrack of my life and for that I am forever thankful!

Lord Biggums Poster

We have just released our remaining copies of our Lord Biggums print. Featured and sold out at Gallery 1988's Is This Thing On 2 exhibit,  Lord Biggums is a 13x17" giclee print on 100 lb. paper. A regal portrait of everyone's favorite crackhead, Tyrone Biggums, this poster can either be framed traditionally or can be trimmed to fit in an 11x14" oval frame. There's a trim line in the design and every poster comes with instructions in case you wish to display it in this manner.
