Banana Western sticker

Howdy folks! So I thought I'd try something new and add a few stickers to the State of Shock Studios universe. The first one we will offer is this 3.75 x 5.25" die cut, heavy-duty waterproof, uv protected banana slinging chimp sticker that is built to withstand the outdoor elements. It would also look quite ornate on the very finest of Trapper Keepers. Printed by the highly regarded humans at standoutstickers.com, it is now available in our store for $3 here.

VICTORY!!!

Victory
11x24", 4 color screen print
limited edition of 100
printed by The Half and Half
I've always loved HBO's comedy/drama Entourage. It's a realistic (I suppose) peek into a life that everyone wants to live...that of a world famous, rich & good looking movie star. Despite that, It's mostly a show about friendship. To get to live vicariously through such well written and superbly unique characters enjoying the fruits of stardom is a real treat. I know there are many critics that complain that it's full of fluff and lacks conflict, but to me watching television and getting lost in a show is an escape. Therefore I find nothing wrong with something being overwhelmingly positive. I don't need EVERYTHING in life to be a struggle! It's basically you're feel good fish out of water story with lots of hot chicks and famous people.

One of my favorite characters on the show is Johnny Drama. He is less famous & less attractive than his younger brother & therefore full of insecurity and occasional rage. He's got some talent but he hasn't "made it." He's mostly known for his role as Tarvold on the short lived science fiction cult classic "Viking Quest."  Tarvold's catchphrase (you guessed it) "VICTORY!!" is hilariously referred to several times during the run of the show. I thought it would be great to combine this fictional, fictional character with that of a stereotypical WWII propaganda poster.

This print is my contribution to Hero Complex Gallery's first group show entitled "Weapon of Choice." They've been great to work with & hopefully this is the beginning of a wonderful relationship. Be sure to check out their website as this (and surely other amazing works of art) will be available.
