RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

We lost a great one yesterday with the passing of Philip Seymour Hoffman. I simply cannot recall a role of his that he did not excel in. That said, the first thing that comes to my mind is him as Scotty J in Boogie Nights.  It was a small (but impactful) role of a colorful character that added to the brilliance of that film. It's one of my favorite films and was certainly my introduction to his work. I wanted to sketch him as kind of a "thank you for your contribution" sort of homage. So thank you sir...and rest in peace.

  1. Thanks Darin! Loved him as Brandt of course...RIP

  2. Brandt is a close second! Both films are definitely in my top 10 and although they're both small roles, he played a big part in them.
